Beginning her career while still in her teens, Kirsty MacColl made her name at the age of 22 with her hit song 'There's A Guy Works Down the Chip Shop Swears He's Elvis'. A great British singer and songwriter who sang with Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Shane McGowan, and Bono. Kite is her 1989 second album produced by then-husband Steve Lillywhite (producer of U2, Rolling Stones) and Johnny Marr (former guitarist/co-writer the Smiths). Kirsty wrote and co-wrote eight of the songs featured on this release. This compilation was originally released as a Record Store Day 2020 sold out and is now available on 140g black vinyl for the first time.
